Regency is an opulent, seductive scent centered on a dark, ripe plum accord. It begins with warm spices like saffron and cinnamon, then moves into a sweet, resin–like phase with a hint of boozy richness. As it settles, it becomes smooth and deep, mixing amber, soft woods, and a whisper of oud. The overall impression is a luxurious, spiced plum wrapped in warm wood. Rich, mysterious, and ideal for cooler nights.
Plum Japonais Dupe
Within every note of Regency is an ode to Plum Japonais: the discontinued scent brought originally to life by Yann Vasnier in 2013. Yann Vasnier created this scent to capture the essence of “ume” or Japanese plum, from its awakening fruity tartness to its intriguing exoticness.
The ume has, for centuries, been a symbol of resilience.
Against all odds, and where other plants wither, ume can bloom and thrive in even cold winters. This Plum Japonais dupe perfume evokes this in every way. With long-lasting wear, our blend is just as resilient and will keep you “blossoming” through both daily rituals and luxe dinner parties.

We felt it was only befitting to give this Plum Japonais dupe a name that honoured the original Plum Japonais’ short-lived time on the shelves, but utterly impressionable reign: Regency.
